College/Career

The college & career ministry of Faith Baptist includes students currently attending Mississippi State University, East Mississippi Community College, and Mississippi University for Women, and individuals who have begun their careers in the working world. The main goal of this ministry is for participants to be connected: Connected with Christ, Connected with His Church, and  Connected with Community. 

The Faith Baptist family will receive you and love you, and will help you discover and develop your spiritual gifts, giving you ample opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. We truely desire to be your family away from your own, and to build relationships that will last.

Faith Baptist offers many ministry and fellowship opportunities for college & young career aged individuals.

• Cafe' Faith  - A dynamic Bible study in the Gospel according to John on Monday nights beginning at 7:30; come early at 7:00 for internet cafe', free refreshments, and connect with other individuals your age-- you may even find a random jam session! 
• College Lunch - Get a home-cooked meal for only a buck Sundays following the morning worship service!
• Sunday School - Led by Dan Bickford, our class takes a look at modern issues through a Biblical perspective in a relaxed setting
  
• Music Ministry - See our Music Ministry page to see the many ways you can get connected
• Numerous opportunities to serve in various children's ministries
• Sports Watch Parties, Game Nights, trips to area concerts and other events, plus other activities as scheduled to strengthen fellowship with other believers 
• Tailgate Parties (at select home football games)
• Student Watchcare Program - A chance for our students to make a solid connection with our church family while still maintaining church membership back home
• We offer individualized discipleship training for committed individuals who are serious about deepening their personal relationship with God and learning how to disciple others
